Andy Lester Comedy

With standup comedy experience comes the question "What makes you unique and what perspective do you offer an audience?  In my case, I write original material based on real life experiences.  As we may work through challenges, notice and observe even the most mundane aspects of our lives my comedy brings this to you, personally - and in a conversational style. "Hey, this works for me and I'm fine with it (but there's also an unexpected twist!).

Some years ago, after performing new material at an open mic, the host did his outro for me and said "Andy Lester... I think his comedy is actually the perfect blend of zen and failure, and I mean that as a compliment."  I recall this night, believing that my particular brand of comedy had resonated with the crowd but also now having irrefutable evidence that at least one person was listening.
